Assessment 3: Business Plan Report

Assessment brief:
You are required to prepare a Business Plan for a Travel or Tourism company based on the business idea generated in Assessment 2. Using your chosen travel or tourism business idea, you are expected to develop a business plan detailing the establishment of a small to the medium-sized tourism business and its first year of operation. For each business decision, you are required to provide references to support your plan.

Your business plan needs to include the following key aspects:
1). Company description (location, ownership, staff)
2). Legal considerations (relevant regulations to the business)
3). Situation analysis (SWOT analysis)
4). Marketing strategy (the target market for the product/service and advertising plans)
5). Financial planning (explain the main sources of finance in the report and provide an example of a Balance Sheet and an Income Statement for the business as an appendix).
6). A summary of the Business Plan and a personal reflection of your experience as an entrepreneur.
