Economically & Environmentally Sustainable (A New Culture) The Global Dairy Industry is under substantial pressure to become sustainable economically and environmentally, and the NZ Dairy sector must respond to the global demands and pressure as well. NZ must remain competitive and maintain a dairy expert and sustainability leadership position on the global stage.
The objective of this project is to demonstrate how NZ can become and maintain an Economically and Environmentally Sustainable Dairy Industry. The research will be conducted via, interviews with Dairy Stakeholders, such as but not limited to, Dairy Farmers, Dairy Milk Processors, Dairy Food Processors, Dairy Technology and Service Companies, Dairy Exporters, Global Dairy Stakeholders, Dairy Integrators Consumers. Via Collaboration with advanced dairy research experts who have and are involved in developing strategies, technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), and real-time data that will aid in providing the evidence and intelligence needed to become the global sustainability leaders.
The Project will demonstrate and provide evidence and intelligence on how to Increase milk production with fewer cows, increase or improve cow feed conversion into energy in the animal to reduce greenhouse gas - ( Methane) produced per cow, improve milk quality, improve animal health, reduce the use of antibiotics on farms, increase the cow life cycle, increase profitability and reduce the carbon footprint and negative environmental impact. ( A New Culture ) Dairy Sustainability Powered by Intelligence, (not assumptions).
