Undertake a systematic or integrative approach to review literature on an area of nursing practice. The review should be based on a key question or aim that you have formulated. For this assignment you will

- Assess inclusion/exclusion of articles based on predetermined set criteria
- Quality appraise using appropriate tools
- Extract and analyse data

Background: In this section include the rationale, context and national / international relevance of your chosen topic. Clearly provide the significance for the chosen topic.
Aim/review question: This should be clearly stated and appropriate for the scope of this assignment. Search strategy for identification of studies: This section should outline such things as the inclusion/exclusion criteria (which may include the following tools: PICO, SPIDER), types of studies, data bases searched, year of publication, key words/search terms used, retrieval of references.
Quality Appraisal: This section should include the tools used to appraise each articles methodological quality and rigour (for example JBI, CASP).
Data extraction and analysis/synthesis: In this section include how data was extracted (what tools) and how data across the included articles were analysed and synthesised. Clearly set out what analysis you used and the processes undertaken.
Results: This section should state the results of your data analysis/synthesis. Discussion: This section should discuss the results in relation to the wider context, such as literature, policy, practice.
Conclusion: This section should not be repetition of the discussion but should identify the importance of the topic, implications for future research or a recommendation about theory or practice.
