During this unit we have examined differing perspectives on Leadership in Health and Safety Management and how these varying opinions impact on the progression (or otherwise) of WHS. However, you may never have considered their relevance to our own behaviours, attitudes and practices.
This assessment requires you to draw together your learnings from this course, using them to reflect upon your own or other practitioners/ colleagues approaches to safety leadership and management, and what changes you will seek to embed in your Health and Safety practices.
The assignment must be written in a report format with an introduction, conclusion and appropriate referencing.
Suggested contents: Identify a core idea, theory or model that you drew key learnings from, and discuss how and why it has influenced your future H&S practices. It is at your discretion the number of ideas and depth of your discussion, but it is recommended your discussion is sufficient ensure your positions are justified and you have demonstrated your understanding of concepts and potential drivers and barriers for your own change.
