Alternative Fiduciary Relationships Assignment 2025
Question 2:
- With reference to case law, critically evaluate the basis upon which courts have, or have not, found the existence of fiduciary duties; and
- With reference to case law, discuss whether Tikanga Māori principles ought to be considered in cases involving fiduciary relationships.

The assignment is due on or before Friday 18th April at 1200pm via Moodle. The maximum length of the assignment will be 2,500 words, excluding footnotes and bibliography. You must only use footnotes for citations and minimal additional points. Incorrect use of footnotes will be penalised. You must follow the NZ Style Guide accurately. Marks can be deducted for failing to comply with the Style Guide and/or poor grammar and punctuation.
