Drawing on the knowledge and experience you gained from completing your group community project, write and submit an individual assignment that addresses the following points:
- Discuss the importance of interprofessional collaborative practice and teamwork when working specifically in the context of primary health care (community health care) team.
- Analyse how the concepts of interprofessional collaboration from theory were applied to your NURS705 peer group when undertaking the community project. Include discussion on the group process, strengths, areas for improvement (with specific examples from this teamwork experience). Include recommendations for future collaboration. You may use ‘I’ and ‘we’ in this assignment.
- The examples should be specific to your peer group which could draw from your meeting minutes, online communications, written peer feedback on presentation script drafts.
- Support discussion with appropriate and current literature to link evidence/theory with your experience (practice).
- This is a substantive academic piece of written assignment not just a reflection piece. Hence, you need to analytically and critically link your experience to literature related to interprofessional teamwork. Word count 1000 words (+/-10%)
