The first assessment is an 800 word assignment that focuses on physiology.

Course Learning Outcome Assessed

  • LO1 Critically apply knowledge of physiology to human function.
  • LO2 Explain how changes at cellular level affect the function of tissues, organs and body systems and precipitate physiological responses to maintain homeostasis.

  1. Select one physiological process or bodily function.
  2. Explain the physiological function of the chosen topic.
  3. Explain how the cellular responses maintain homeostasis and how the homeostatic response supports relevant tissues and organs for your chosen process or function.
  4. Support your explanation with relevant contemporary evidence.
