The Māori Education strategy, Ka Hikitia Ka Hāpaitia (2020) provides guidance for all educators to ensure Māori students have equitable and equal opportunities to achieve and succeed as Māori. This essay is an opportunity to deepen your understanding of this document to explore the connections between theory and practice by explaining how Ka Hikitia Ka Hāpaitia could be implemented in practice.
