Research and referencing: You are required to engage in some research into the theories or concepts underpinning this topic and use other relevant sources beyond the provided reading material in order to successfully complete this assignment. TASK INSTRUCTIONS

Select an organisation that you are familiar with (this could be as an employee or a customer). It is recommended that the selected organisation be of medium to large size (20+ employees) and operate in Aotearoa, New Zealand. Please do not collect any information directly from the organisation, only use what is publicly available (i.e. secondary data sources).

Consider yourself as the Human Resource Manager for this organisation. You have recently been tasked with designing human resource management practices (based on functions) for a managerial level position within your selected organisation (such as Marketing Manager, Accounts Manager, Quality Manager, Finance Manager) and need to discuss how effective human resource management contributes to organisational success.

This information must be presented in a report format and include the following elements:

  1. Title page (Title of assessment, student name and ID, course name and code) – not part of the word count
  2. Table of Contents (include a clear and numbered list of headings and subheadings with corresponding page numbers) – not part of the word count
