Learning outcomes
The learning outcomes assessed in this assignment are:

1. Describe culturally safe operating principles and values and their application in a health and wellbeing setting.

2. Describe frameworks, approaches, and models used by support workers when working in a health and wellbeing setting.

Task 1: Sector operating principles

 In this task, you are asked to define three-sector operating principles. You need to tell us what sector document the principle comes from, and how this document is suggesting the principle is defined and applied.

 Task 6:Workplace verification

For Task 1 you need to show that you have described how the sector operating principles are reflected in your workplace policies and procedures. You also need to demonstrate that you apply the sector operating principles when working with tāngatawhaiora and have this verified by your workplace verifier.

For Task 2 you need to demonstrate that you apply the Māori culturally safe operating principles when working with tāngatawhaiora and have this verified by your workplace verifier.

For Task 3 you need to demonstrate that you apply Pasifika culturally safe operating principles when working with tāngatawhaiora and have this verified by your workplace verifier.
